About Dr. Chris
Dr Chris was born and raised in sunny North Queensland, Australia. Dr Chris received his BSc in Human Anatomy from the University of Qld in Brisbane. After years of working in hospitals in the UK and Hawaii, he graduated in 2009 from Palmer West College of Chiropractic (the oldest and most prestigious chiropractic college in the world). Dr Chris is licensed both in the USA and Australia. Before relocating to Los Angeles, Dr Chris established a thriving family practice in Queensland, Australia. His passion for both Chiropractic and traveling has allowed him to learn from the brightest and most innovative Chiropractors from around the world, helping him to deliver the best technique for his clients.
Growing up, Dr Chris was both a national champion in canoe paddling as well as on the National Australian team for Volleyball. During a Rugby game, he suffered his first neck injury. After countless consultations with Physical Therapists, Doctors and Surgeons, he was told his only option was surgery. Dr Chris then had his first chiropractic adjustment that would change his life. Not only was it the only treatment he found to work for his neck, but he found chiropractic helped with many other areas of life. Dr Canning believes so strongly in the benefits of Chiropractic that he decided to dedicate his life to educating and helping others.
Dr Chris specializes in patients suffering from various conditions such as trigeminal neuralgia, migraines, headaches, neck and back pain, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, tinnitus, carpel tunnel and high blood pressure. His extensive training and education combined with this passion for helping others has seen him help thousands of patients find their way back to optimal health through Chiropractic care.
